2024 July: One mooring was deployed at the site, equipped with a pCO2, a pH sensor and a CTD-O2 sensor at 24 m. Discrete samples for DIC and TA were collected.
2025 October: The moored sensors were recovered in June 2025 and a new set of sensors were deployed for the period 2025 to 2026. Severe delay in making reference data (DIC/TA) available due to fire in AWI building affecting the laboratory.
Currently in contact with ICOS OTC to start sensor data process and loading.
2026: Sensors deployed in 2025 are planed to be recovered during Polarstern expedition PS155 in July, when a new set of sensors are also planed to be deployed.
