JenaCarboScopeRegional (STILT & TM5) inversion results for 2018
This gridded dataset consists of posterior Net Ecosystem Exchange (NEE) estimated using CSR over Europe for 2018 with the regional transport model STILT as part of the CSR-LUMIA intercomparison study. The boundary conditions were provided through a global inversion using a two-step inversion with the global transport model TM5 at coarse resolution.The prior biosphere fluxes of CO2 were calculated using the diagnostic biosphere model VPRM https://doi.org/10.18160/VX78-HVA1. The ocean fluxes and fossil fuel emissions are prescribed in the inversions and are taken from Mikaloff-Fletcher et al. (2007) https://doi.org/10.1029/2006GB002751 and EDGAR_v4.3 https://doi.org/10.18160/2M77-62E6, respectively.
