Norway spruce (Picea abies (L.) H.Karst.) is the dominant tree species in the Kenttarova forest (Hylocomium-Myrtillus type). The main species of the ground floor are Vaccinium myrtillus L., Empetrum nigrum L., Vaccinium vitis-idaea L. and the forest mosses Pleurozium schreberi (Willd. ex Brid.) Mitt., Hylocomium splendens (Hedw.) Schimp. and Dicranum polysetum Sw.. The soil type at the site is podzolic till."],
