This dataset consists of data from a CO2 sensor deployed at the fixed ocean station PALOMA in the Gulf of Trieste, hydrography data, and discrete data from the station, all collected during 2020-07-15 as part of the ATL2MED demonstration experiment. The ATL2MED demonstration experiment took place between October 2019 and July 2020, when two Salidrone vessels equipped with scientific instruments sailed from the North-East Atlantic Ocean to the Gulf of Trieste in the Mediterranean Sea. In addition to PALOMA fixed station, also DYFAMED, W1M3A, E2M3A, and MIRAMARE fixed stations, the R/V Meteor, and two gliders took part in the experiment. Involved institutions/projects/company were: GEOMAR, CNRS, LOV, PLOCAN, OSCM, IH, SOCIB, OGS, HZG, CSM, CNR-ISMAR, CNR-IAS, ICOS-OTC, and Saildrone Inc.
