CH4 inversion results for Europe: Common input files

This dataset contains ancillary materials for the project “National Scale CH4 Inversion Intercomparison for Europe”, following the protocol described in Florentie and Houweling (2021) (https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.15082281). It is thus complementary to the main project data output Ioannidis et al. (2025) (https://doi.org/10.18160/KZ63-2NDJ), which comprises an ensemble of inverse modelling estimates of European monthly CH4 fluxes and molar fractions for 2005-2018 produced as part of the CoCO2 project and the World Meteorological Organization Integrated Global Greenhouse Gas Information System (WMO-IG3IS). The scientific results of the project are described in the publication Ioannidis, E. et al. (2026) (https://doi.org/10.5194/essd-18-167-2026).
