This gridded dataset consists of posterior Net Ecosystem Exchange (NEE) estimated using CSR over Europe for 2018 with the regional transport model STILT as part of the CSR-LUMIA intercomparison study. The boundary conditions were provided through a global inversion using a two-step inversion with the global transport model TM3 at coarse resolution.The prior biosphere fluxes of CO2 were calculated using the diagnostic biosphere model VPRM https://doi.org/10.18160/VX78-HVA1. The ocean fluxes and fossil fuel emissions are prescribed in the inversions and are taken from Mikaloff-Fletcher et al. (2007) https://doi.org/10.1029/2006GB002751 and EDGAR_v4.3 https://doi.org/10.18160/2M77-62E6, respectively.
