The Risoe Campus Willow (ICOS code DK-RCW) station is a willow short rotation coppice, planted in 2009 on 8.6 ha former cropland on sandy clay loam originating from glacial till. Since 2016, the plantation is managed as an organic culture, i.e. no artificial fertiliser use and only very limited herbicide use.
