The site Voulundgaard (ICOS code DK-Vng) is a cropland located in Eastern part of Skjern River catchment in central Jutland, west of the margin for the ice extent of the last glacial maximum, characterized by flat terrain on sandy soil. The station has been running as part of the Hobe Hydrological Observatory and as typical for agricultural fields in this part of the country hedgerows running North-South are located between the fields to prevent Aeolian erosion.
