This tower is located at Doñana National Park, inside the Doñana Biological Reserve as part of ICTS-RBD Research Infrastructure. This tower is set up inside a Juniper (Juniperus phoenicea) open woodlands on top of stabilized sand dunes (paleodunes 6000 bp). Very xeric conditions constraint plant growth in addition to extreme drought events.
