The Irish station IE-Dyy is a temperate grassland ecosystem on drained peat located in the Midlands Region in Co. Offaly, and it is approximately 7.83 ha-1 in size. The grassland is intensively managed under a dairy production system and therefore represents a common agricultural practice in Ireland. The sward type is perennial ryegrass (Lolium perenne L.) with clover where the EC tower was positioned in the North-East part of the field site to maximize the footprint contribution from the prevailing South-Westerly wind direction.
