This site is in a Japanese larch (Larix kaempferi Sarg.) plantation, which is located at the northern foothills of Mt.Fuji, the highest mountain (3776m) in Japan. Fujisan was registered as a World Cultural Heritage site by UNESCO as Fujisan as an object of faith and the source of art in 2013.
