The flux site is located at a reservoir in Seocheon, Chungcheongnam-do, South Korea. This reservoir was created as an agricultural reservoir in the 1900s. Currently, through ecological restoration work conducted in 2010, water flows in from the rice paddies and drains into the surrounding wetlands.
