The Tukuma Arctica is a container ship that operates between Nuuk, Greenland and Aarhus, Denmark. Along the way it stops in Reykjavik, Reydarfjordur, Thorshavn, Bremerhaven and Helsingborg. The ship is operated by Royal Arctic Lines. pCO2 measurements from the surface water and the atmosphere started when the ship was new in 2020, replacing the ship Nuka Arctica, which had similar systems onboard from 2005 until it was taken out of service in 2020. University of Bergen is responsible for this effort, with Professor Are Olsen and Dr. Tobias Ehmen as PIs.
