The SOOP line DE-SOOP-Atlantic Sail is a combined RoRo/Container vessel operating on a five-week round trip in the North Atlantic Ocean between Europe and North America. The ship is operated by ACL – Atlantic Container Lines (Grimaldi group). The underway measurements on this line were started I 2005 (onboard M/V Atlantic Companion) and consist of continuous measurements of surface ocean pCO2, pH and alkalinity (together with temperature and salinity).
